7/31/07 afternoon — SLCFD responded to several vehicle accidents. None turned out to be very serious. We also responded to some fires; again nothing serious.

7/30/07 at 9:30 p.m. — Responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian in the 400 block of Port St. Lucie Blvd. Female in her mid-40s was flown to a southern trauma center. PSLPD were also on the scene.

7/29/07 at 7:48 p.m. — SLCFD was called to a motorcycle accident on the 800 block of Seaway Drive. A male in his 60s was flown to a northern trauma center in serious condition. The man was not wearing a helmet.

7/27/07 at 12:28 — SLCFD called to 6153 S US 1 for an MVC. Male (elderly) transported by ground to local hospital. Could not be flown out because of weather conditions. SLCSO was on the scene.

7/27/07 at 11:55 — SLCFD was called to a lightening strike on the 1200 block of South Ocean Drive, Ft. Pierce. (Mariner Bay) A male, early 40’s, was struck by lightening while on a dock. Because of weather conditions the man was ground transported to a local hospital in serious condition.

7/26/07 at approximately 10:30 a.m. — SLCFD responded to a single-vehicle accident at the 129 MM of I-95 NB. A woman, in her late teens, was flown to a northern trauma center in serous but stable condition. No other persons were in the vehicle. FHP was also at the scene.

7/25/07 a.m. — Nothing to report from last night or this morning.
Last night (at approximately 5:30 p.m.) the SLCFD responded to two homes struck by lightening. One home on the 1500 block of Cody Lane, Ft. P, had some smoldering in the air conditioning duct. The other home on the 1500 block of Ballantrae, PSL, did not suffer any smoke or fire damage.
