9/30/07 at 2 a.m. — SLCFD responded to a residential fire on the 700 block of SE Prima Vista, PSL. A male and female who were home at the time escaped unharmed. The fire, which caused major damage to the attic, is under investigation. Red Cross was called to assist the couple.

9/28/07 at 9:59 a.m. — SLCFD responded to a stabbing at the corner of 25th Street and Wilkenson Avenue in Ft. Pierce. Air Rescue transported a male in his 30s to a northern trauma center in serious condition. FPPD was also on the scene. (Wilkenson is just north of Avenue K.)

9/27/07 at 12:55 — SLCFD responded to an MVC at US1 and Farmers Market. One truck (white) had rear-ended another (grey). Air Rescue transported female in her mid 20s to a northern trauma center. She had been the driver of the second (white) truck. No one in the first truck was injured. FPPD was on the scene.
9/27/07 at 12:23 — SLCFD responded to a residential fire on the 2600 block of SW Harem Circle in PSL. The single-family, single-story home was 50% involved. No one was injured. The house is uninhabitable. Fire is under investigation. PSLPD was also on the scene.

Update — This is a hit and run accident. The girl is pre-teen and is in critcal condition. (posted 8:20 a.m.)
9/27/07 at 6:35 a.m. — SLCFD responded to a vehicle vs child at the corner of SW Savonna Blvd and SW Haleyberry Ave. Transported by air a female in her teens to a trauma center. PSLPD was also at the scene. Will update as information becomes available.
(Air Rescue could not fly south due to weather and headed northwest to another trauma center.)

9/26/07 at 1:39 a.m. — SLCFD responded to a fall on the 2800 block of N Hwy A1A, Ft. Pierce. A male in his late 50s had fallen down stairs. He was flown to a northern trauma center in stable condition.
9/26/07 at 6:11 a.m. — SLCFD responded to a residential fire on the 7100 block of Salerno Rd., Ft. Pierce. There was approximately 40% damage to the single-family, single story residence. No injuries. Cause of fire is under investigation.
9/26/07 at 6:55 a.m. — SLCFD responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on the 15500 block of Okeechobee Road. A male, driving a pick-up truck, had been ejected from the vehicle. He was transported by ground to a local hospital in critical but stable condition. (The accident occurred at the Z Bar 2 curve.)

7/25/07 at 7:33 a.m. — SLCFD responded to a child hit by a vehicle at the corner of West Dixie Blvd and St. Lucie Blvd/Airport Road. The male child was flown to a southern trauma center in critical condition. (This was originally reported as child hit by bus — see below.)

9/24/07 Fire Incident Information

9/24/07 at 12:53 p.m. — SLCFD responded to a residential fire on the 1600 block of N. 37th, Ft. Pierce. Accidental kitchen fire caused by a pot left on the stove. Approximately $85,000 in damage. No injuries.
9/24/07 at 8:11 a.m. — SLCFD responded to a structure fire on the 100 block of SW Peacock Blvd. (The Belmont, a condominium community) in Port St. Lucie. Accidental fire. Approximately $85,000 in damage. Family dog died in the fire. No other injuries.
9/23/07 — SLCFD responded to a fire on the 600 block of S 11th, Ft. Pierce. Electrical fire in kitchen. Approximately $10,000 in damage. No injuries.
