Monday Morning Update

12/30/07 at 4:52 p.m. — SLCFD responded to a motorcycle vs vehicle (truck) accident at SE Haddon and SE Thanksgiving, PSL.  Air Rescue flew a male to a southern trauma center with non-life threatening injuries.  PSLPD was also on the scene.

Friday Morning Update

12/28/07 at 1 a.m. — SLCFD responded to a motorcycle accident at PSL and Airoso.  Two motorcycles were involved.  Transported one male in his 40s to a local hospital with minor injuries.  No other injuries.

Thursday Morning Update

12/26/07 at 10:13 p.m. — SLCFD responded to a fire at a structure on the 3400 block of Avenue C in Ft. Pierce.  The fire was in the back of the single-story building, with smoke damage throughout.  Fire crews arrived at 10:18 p.m. and the fire was called under control at 10:39 p.m.  No one was in the building at the time.  The fire is under investigation.

Structure Fire at Torrey Pines

12/26/07 at 3:35 p.m. — SLCFD responded to a structure fire at the Torrey Pines Institute in PSL.  (Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies is under construction in the Traditions area of St. Lucie West.)  The Fire District had the fire under control by 4 p.m.  Damage was confined to a dumpster and scaffolding, with some smoke damage to the building.  All construction workers were evacuated without injuries.  Cause of the fire is under investigation.

Saturday Morning Update

12/21/07 at 4:52 pm –SLCFD responded to a house on the 300 block of South 33rd in Ft. Pierce.  A woman reported she fell and cut herself with a knife.  The woman, in her 20s, was transported by Air Rescue to a northern trauma center in serious condition.  FPPD was also on the scene.
