MVC at 137 MM on I95 - Update

This is an update to the MVC mentioned below…

Pediatric patient flown to a southern trama center in critical but stable condition

Male patient (father) transported by ground in stable condition. 

Female patient (mother) was extricated from under the van and ground transported in stable condition.

MVC at 137 MM of I95

3/27/08 at 11:57 — SLCFD responded to a rollover accident at the 137 MM of I-95.  Air Rescue is transporting a pediatric patient.  Another helicopter is on alert for another patient still trapped in the vehicle.   UPDATE at 12:38 — Second patient extricated and will not be flown. 

Will update after I am able to talk to someone on scene.

Tuesday Morning Update

Yesterday — 3/24/08 at 1:38 p.m. — SLCFD responded to an accident at Allied Chemicals, 9500 block of Rangeline, Ft. Pierce.  A male in his mid 50s had fallen, approximately 15′, into a holding tank with low level bleach.  The man was ground transported to a local hospital in serious condition with caustic burns over 40% of his body.

Thursday Morning Update

3/19/08 at 8:50 p.m. –  SLCFD responded to a vehicle accident on South Bridge.  Flew one male in his 30s to a northern trauma center in critical condition.  Flew one female in her 20s to a southern trauma center in stable condition.  No other patients.  FPPD was also on the scene.
