5/7/08 at 12:15 p.m. — SLCFD responded to smoke in a building at Centennial High School. The smoke was in a back building, NE corner. All students were evacuated as a precaution. No injuries. Cause — A motor burned-up on a fresh air handler. Firefighters determined the cause 20 minutes after arriving on scene. Responded with 3 engines, 1 quint (ladder truck), 2 rescue trucks.
