7/1/09 a.m. — Nothing to report from last night or this morning.
6/30/09 at 12:32 p.m. — SLCFD responded to the Coast Guard Station (Seaway Drive, Ft. Pierce) where a private boat docked after rough seas injured two preschool children passengers in the boat. The boat had hit waves causing the two children (boys ages 2 & 3) to hit their heads. They were transported to a local hospital as a precautionary measure.
