10/27/09 at 8 p.m. — SLCFD responded to an SUV vs. bike accident at S 22nd Street and Orange Avenue, Ft. Pierce. A male, in his 40s, was ground transported to a local provisional trauma center in critical condition. No other injuries.

10/26/09 at 6:13 p.m. – SLCFD responded to a vehicle accident which had turned into an altercation at Hartman Rd. and Orange Ave., Ft. Pierce. Three women, all in their 20s, were checked out at the scene but all refused treatment. FPPD was also on the scene.

10/25/09 at 3:16 p.m. — SLCFD responded to a vehicle accident at 2601 S. Ocean Drive. A male, in his late 40s, was flown to a local provisional trauma center in serious condition. The man was the only one in the car, which hit a telephone pole and went into nearby woods. No other vehicles were involved, no other injuries. SLCSO was also on the scene.

10/24/09 at 9:41 p.m. — SLCFD responded to an incident on Okeechobee Road approximately 2 1/2 miles west of the Turnpike. Two men had been fighting on the road and were hit by a vehicle. One male, in his mid-20s, died at the scene. Another male, in his early 20s, was flown to a local trauma center with life-threatening injuries. Both SLCSO and FHP were at the scene.

10/22/09 at 4:49 p.m. — SLCFD responded to a fire at 601 South 10th Street, Ft. Pierce. The kitchen fire was quickly put out. One person was treated for respiratory problems at the scene.

UPDATE — Fire out 11:01 a.m.
10/20/09 at 10:34 a.m. — SLCFD is responding to a fire at 8 Villa Blanca in the Spanish Lakes area of Ft. Pierce. Arriving crews saw heavy smoke coming from the manufactured home. Reportedly there is a fire underneath the home. Crews on scene. Will update when more information becomes available.
